BISSELL Pet Foundation Grant

Pets Alive has been awarded a grant from BISSELL Pet Foundation* for $2,625 used for spay/neuter of our felines in 2017 to ready them for adoption!

This grant helped us spay/neuter 75 of the 264 cats and kittens that we rescued in 2017 and prepare them for adoption. Most of these kitties have found loving, forever homes. The grant helped make this possible for so many animals, like Daffodil and Tulip. They were two 5-week-old kittens that were abandoned by their feline mother. They seemed like any other little playful kitties, but to our surprise, Tulip had no back foot! She adapted well and her disability didn’t stop her and her sister from getting adopted together! And Steven Tyler, a cat who was rescued from a horrific hoarding situation with 4 other cats, also got adopted. There are so many other similar stories. We are thankful to the BISSELL Pet Foundation for helping to make this possible.
