Meet Our New Jamaican Pups!

Twelve very special dogs have made an incredible journey—and now they’re finally ready to find their forever families right here at Pets Alive.

We partnered with Negril Pup Rescue to help save dogs affected by the aftermath of Hurricane Melissa. With shelters overwhelmed and resources stretched thin on the island, these dogs urgently needed a safe place to land. Thanks to your support, and the support of Sidewalk Angels, they boarded a flight from Jamaica and touched down on Long Island – tired, a little confused, but full of hope.

Now that they’ve had time to settle in, receive medical care, and get lots of love from our team, these island pups are officially available for adoption!

Who Are the Jamaican Dogs?

These sweethearts come in all personalities and sizes, but they share one thing in common: an incredible spirit. Among them are:
