Autumn was just brought to us earlier today by our local Animal Control Officer. She is missing fur on almost her entire body, fleas can be seen crawling all over her, she has a mass on her belly, she is underweight, dehydrated, and her nails are overgrown – and that is just what we could see for the short time she was at Pets Alive!
We immediately rushed Autumn to our veterinarian, where they are examining her to determine how to address her most pressing needs.
Over the past few months, we’ve had a big intake of animals with medical needs, in addition to caring for the other 250-plus animals at Pets Alive. Our medical fund is now stretched thin, but thanks to you, we’ve been able to care for these animals.
