The 2013 Tail Wagger Dog walk is the second annual dog walk benefiting Pets Alive Animal Sanctuary. In it’s first year the Tail Wagger Dog Walk raised over $10,000 thanks to our amazing sponsors, vendors and walkers. This walk raises funds that directly benefit the animals at the no-kill animal sanctuary. For 2013 we’ve expanded the event and this year we are holding the walk at the Walkway Over the Hudson, which connects Highland and Poughkeepsie.

The walk will begin on the Highland side. Walkers will walk 1.28 miles to the Poughkeepsie side, turn around and come back for a total of 2.56 miles. You and your dog can walk the full distance or just part of it. There will be stops along the way! Registration is at 10am and the walk begins at 11am. All dogs must be on non-retracting leashes and up to date on shots. We invite you and your family to get out and be active with your pet for the Tail Wagger Dog Walk! Walking is a great way to bond with your pet, get your heart pumping and raise money to help the animals at Pets Alive.

The Tail Wagger Dog Walk is a day of fun for you, your dog and the whole family. Stay tuned for a schedule as we get closer to the event. There will be great shopping with a wide variety of vendors and sponsors that offer plenty of great products for you to check out. Be a Vendor

Become a vendor at the 2013 Pets Alive Tail Wagger Dog Walk! All vendors/exhibitors will be charged $45
  • Vendors will be required to supply a certificate of insurance; you will be given additional information once your registration is received
  • All vendor/exhibitor spaces are 10’ x 10’
  • All participants are responsible for providing their own tents, tables, chairs and signs
  • Set-up time is 10:00am; Sites must be cleared when event ends
  • Pets Alive, The Walkway and The Rail Trail are not responsible for any theft or damage to your exhibit
  • Vendors/exhibitors are responsible for removing their own trash
  • Electricity is not provided on site
  • All space assignments made by Pets Alive are final
  • Cancellations will be accepted and a refund, less a $15 service fee, will be extended through August 15, 2013. No refunds available after August 15, 2013
